Gold-Hiring ("we", "us", "our") operates the goldhiring.com platform. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

When you use Gold-Hiring, we may collect:

• Account information — name, email address, and profile details provided through LinkedIn or Google sign-in.
• Calendar data — event titles, dates, times, and links from your Google Calendar, used solely to match hiring-related events to your pursuits.
• Usage data — pursuit statuses, notes, and preferences you enter into the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Gold-Hiring pursuit tracking service.
• To sync your Google Calendar events with your pursuit pipeline.
• To authenticate your identity and secure your account.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Data is only transmitted to:

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider.
• Google APIs — only when you explicitly link your Google account, and only to read calendar data.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.

5. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, secure httpOnly cookies, and server-side token storage. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in our database and never exposed to the browser.

6. Google API Scopes

When you link your Google account, we request:

• calendar.readonly — to read your calendar events (we never create or modify events).
• contacts.readonly — to import your contacts for networking and referral tracking.

7. Your Rights

You can disconnect your Google account at any time. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@goldhiring.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
